If you want to know what season you belong to, check the forearm for some veins. If these look blue, you belong most probably to the cool season. If it’s greenish, then you belong to the warm group. People with cool tones would normally have pale or dark skin with blue or pink undertones. Bright colors work best for these groups of people. All colors are suitable for dark-skinned people. It is better if one sticks to bright colors and avoid the extreme like being too bright and too dark. Fair-skinned people should stick to dark colors. Light ones make them washed out. Shades of blue, green and the primary colors are perfect. Black can also be used as long as it is paired with bright accessories. Earth tones and pastels should be avoided as well.

Medium-skinned men should avoid the colors brown, yellow and green, especially if their skin tones and hair color is the same. For a more upbeat feel to the choice of colors, try beige or cream. Pure whites can be harsh for this group of people. Opt for the creams and sand colored slacks and shirts. This means that wear something dark against a light piece like slacks.

Grey is another color that you would be happy about. There is nothing that cannot be worn with this color. If you want a darker shade, you can pair it with greens and purples. For the lighter shades, blue, pink and yellow are its best compliments.
